MASTER BOMBERO – NOMADIC REFUGE
A second life for a retired hero. We transformed a 1994 Renault Master fire truck into a warm, nomadic home. The challenge was to completely erase the vehicle's cold, utilitarian past and replace it with the cozy atmosphere of a boat cabin.
Focused on autonomy and robustness, this conversion blends traditional carpentry with modern off-grid systems.

NAUTICAL CRAFTSMANSHIP
Inspired by naval architecture, the interior is handcrafted entirely from Okoumé marine plywood, chosen for its humidity resistance and warm grain. The ceiling features a rhythmic slat system that hides technical wiring while integrating soft, ambient lighting.
MATERIAL INNOVATION
To maintain the vehicle's agility, we had to be obsessed with weight. The wet bath is lined with flexible stone veneer (Slate), offering the luxurious texture of natural stone without the heavy load. Every storage unit is structurally optimized to be as light as it is robust.
