The silhouette of a bird in flight.
Inspiration: the dynamics of flight guide the silhouette; the sequence of curves creates a takeoff effect visible from a specific angle.
Shaping the handlebar from a tube.
Process: tube bent at 45° to evoke the fin; wooden and steel elements, bending done in the vice, oiled finish and manual adjustments for tactile and visual qualities.
Fitting of beech "winglettes".
Details: beech tips assembled in winglettes, hidden fitting tenons for a pure and sculptural reading of the arch.
